How to fix a typo ?
Friday, 25 September 2020 02:33 pmWe received a leaflet about annual health checks for Ben from the local health trust and CCG.
It contains some telephone numbers in Lancaster, Barrow (01229) and ... Bath (01225).
Seeing the similarity in area codes I checked whether the Bath numbers were typos (Bath is 270miles away) and received the following reply:
Thank you for letting us know about the 01225 area code. I have checked with [...] who sent us the leaflet and yes it will be a number to use, but is not set up yet (they didn't want to have to reprint all the leaflets again shortly) If you need to contact them in the near future please use the 01229 number.
It seems that they would rather acquire some random phone numbers than reprint a leaflet ?
