Government guidance ?
I have just received a text (SMS) from my GP practice, asking all patients to wear face masks.
This is a reasonable request, and might usefully have been made earlier.
However, the text begins "in response to government guidance" ...
Given the scandalous performance of the government over Covid-19
I am horrified to think that my GP practice is taking guidance from the
government when there should be many members of staff within the practice
much better informed on the matter of disease transmission.
