Problem is that the deep fat fryer needs to have its own socket so that it *can* be turned off at the wall, as that's the only way of turning it off. The other socket therefore has an adaptor to enable us to plug in the microwave and the radio as well. I'd like to rearrange the kitchen entirely and this will be taken into consideration when at some point in the future we get a new kitchen.
